Below is the outline of the personal credo I live by: trusting my heart for 100% life direction.
And just as, if this were a food recipe that I was sharing with you, please take from it what is helpful, disregard what is not, and embellish wherever you feel so inspired.

First of all, if we want to listen to our hearts, we need to know how they speak to us:
Which is somatically, via:
tender pulses and beats;
a powerful sense of resonance, a felt sense of recognition of a thing/person/place;
a deep sense of inner knowing;
a quickening, excitement, a feeling of an opening, joy…deep contentment, bliss, Love… connection…
But also, if the whisperings of the heart have gone ignored for too long, via:
hollerings, aches, a tender tender pain & a sense of constriction.
Then there are the deepest, most private aspirations - that go to the ‘heart’ of who you truly are. This is what people refer to when they speak of ‘the life that’s calling you’ (and I’ll share more about this via the writings and work of beautiful writers and artists in the newsletter).
The heart is a sensing organ. It literally senses out into our world what we - an organism, that’s as much a part of nature as the trees in the shared garden here by my home are - need, in order to come back into balance. I.e. into the form where we can feel our most free and creative sense of SELF. (I’ll come to this later).

2. What happens when we begin to trust the sensing of the heart?
As far as I can see, every time we trust our heart, we’re led to the 5 P’s:
i) people
ii) places
iii) platforms
iv) practices
v) a potential - all of the 5P’s carry this seed of potential to if recognised, trusted and acted on have the power to bring enormous healing into yours and your children’s lives, but this last one is like our 6th sense of the potential in a moment, in an exchange, like a door opening, that if walked through will change everything in an instance. Like a moment in a conversation, where someone says something and there it is, you sense it, you know it, the potential, the opening, and if you don’t respond, if you allow doubt to creep in, you’ve lost it. In improv this is called ‘first impulse’ - to trust this. Don’t wait… don’t dawdle, don’t overthink… trust, act… flow.
These 5 P’s will be unique for each of us.

So what happens after our heart leads us to a 5 P?
This is key because we need to learn to trust a 5P when we see them, but many times, we don’t. In the words of Joseph Jarwoski, whose book Synchronicity I deeply recommend, and who I had the great joy of learning so much from last year, in a group called how to live ‘Source Enabled Leadership,’ this phase can be described as such:
“With this surrender also comes responsibility—to maintain an acute sense of awareness, so that when opportunity presents itself, you can immediately respond to it. Sometimes the greatest acts of commitment involve waiting until you know just what to do next.”
Indeed, often, it can be the pain of not having trusted one that inspires us to trust another. Because something in us recognises the lost opportunity when we didn’t trust one the first time round, which can be a gift, as we are then emboldened to be braver the next time. (Trust me, the pain of NOT acting on a 5P when they do appear is too horrid! It’s like a kind of haunting, where the ones you ignored, you just think: oh! what did I miss!)
But every time that we do trust a 5P, we’re led through our own unique ‘journey of the heart.’
One that plays out much like the grieving process, where it’s not a sequential process so much, as one that we each make our own way through, in the way that’s right for us).
Momentum:
Once you start trusting and acting on the 5P’s one leads to another, and a momentum of healing starts building in your life, so you start experiencing more flow and synchronicity.
For me this feels like moving through the following framework, as if our hearts are cleaning up our lives. So trusting our hearts has the potential to take us on the below journey ‘of the heart,’ where we experience:
H - Healing (body, brain, r/s to heart wisdom, family, friends, home)
E - which leads to the Emergence & increasing Expression of our true Essence
A - which leads to greater Authenticity and Acceptance of our unique offering of healing Art
R - which leads to Renewal & increasing Recipcrocity in our our Relationships
T - which leads to gradual (!) Transformation and a deepening Great Trust in life.
As we stay on this journey, our sense of who our SELF starts to heal. Or maybe just expand, as our hearts start to intuit to us who we are at a deeper level:
S - beings rooted in Source
E - whose Essence is rooted in a unique
L - offering of Love
F - fortified by an ever-growing sense of Freedom.

So that’s the bedrock of my newsletter, the foundation from which the writing springs - and P.S: if you’re reading this and things have gone a bit skew wiffy in your life, please know in your heart is all the knowing you need to bring about healing.
This isn;t saying you don;’t need to learn anymore skills. On the contrary, your heart knows what you want, your heart knows and senses what’s right for you, and in all the areas, where you ned guidance/support, be that relational, parenting, financial etc, your heart will guide you to the exact 5P who can teach you those.
